Installux has a certified industrial production of aluminium profiles through our subsidiaries France Alu Color and Installux Extrusión Services.
INDUSTRIAL PLATFORMS
The Installux group has two large industrial platforms at the cutting edge of technology and adapted to the requirements of the aluminium carpentry sector.
Commited in the démarche Alu+C-, we work permanently on the reduction of the carbon footprint of our aluminium profiles. The integration of spinning in the Group’s industrial activities allow us to guarantee the quality of our products and accelerate our ecofriendly actions.
All of our systems have useful FDES as part of the RE2020 regulation for companies that manufacture and install in France.
Our aluminium profile extrusion platform, Installux Extrusión Services, is located on 2 industrial sites in Catalonia (Spain) → We control the entire aluminium profile production value chain:
→ extrusion;
→ heat treatment;
→ lacquering;
→ machining;
→ TBB (Thermal Bridge Break) crimping;
→ packaging;
→ storage and logistics.
On the other hand, our second subsidiary, France Alu Color, a specialist for 30 years in the field of powder coating, is located in Marcilloles in Isère (38) → We also control the entire value chain for surface treatment:
→ reception;
→ storage;
→ raw preparation and quality control;
→ sorting/cutting before lacquering;
→ TBB (Thermal Bridge Break) crimping;
→ product quality control;
→ packaging;
→ dispatch.
EXTRUSION OF ALUMINIUM PROFILES
Installux Extrusión Services has proven expertise in the extrusion of aluminium profiles. Our annual production capacity is 16,000 tons. This production capacity is notably possible thanks to our two 2,000-ton presses.
Our two production sites allow us to manufacture profiles ranging from 100 g/m to 9 kg/m, with a maximum extrusion diameter of 200 mm.
A specialised team within our factories allows us to design our own extrusion dies to be able to meet all the needs of our customers.
LACQUERING AND FINISHES
Installux offers the lacquering of aluminium profiles through its two industrial subsidiaries. Lacquering allows the profiles to be protected and above all to give them a more aesthetic finish, a more upscale look. The lacquering of our aluminium profiles is carried out within our subsidiaries France Alu Color and Installux Extrusión Services.
Powder coating is carried out in 3 stages:
- Chemical surface treatment → ensures good paint adhesion and provides anti-corrosion performance.
- Electrostatic powder coating → application of the powder directly on the profile.
- Polymerisation → is carried out in an oven in order to obtain the desired characteristics and the appearance of the desired colour.
Our automatic powder coating production lines designed for the lacquering of aluminium profiles have:
A horizontal line with two automatic powder coating booths
Two vertical lines with two automatic powder coating booths
An accessories chain that guarantees colour uniformity for the powder coating of accessories
Each production line has a very specific manufacturing process. All the steps from the preparation of the aluminium, through the various treatments, the powdering, the polymerisation and finally the quality control are taken care of. All our aluminium profiles are carefully packaged after lacquering and sublimation.
INSERTION OF (POLYAMIDE) STRIPS/CRIMPING TBB
In order to meet regulatory requirements, and above all the needs of our customers, Installux has 3 crimping lines within its France Alu Color and Installux Extrusión Services subsidiaries.
Crimping is used for profiles with thermal bridge break (TBB). It allows to combine two aluminium half-profiles via strips in reinforced polyamide or PVC. This technique allows us to produce bi-coloured profiles
→ infinite customisation according to the needs of our customers.
MACHINING
Installux also has a machining workshop within its subsidiary Installux Extrusión Services. This workshop allows us to premachine certain profiles for the manufacture of gates, pergolas, curtain walls or even jalousie windows.
